Qatar University (QU) has announced that it will hold separate graduation ceremonies for its Class of 2023 female students. These ceremonies will be held in the mornings and evenings beginning on May 9 and continuing through May 13 at the QU Sports and Events Complex.
The QU YouTube Channel will broadcast the graduation events live. The dean of the various colleges and the ceremony coordinators will welcome the graduates on stage.
In addition to those who are anticipated to graduate by the conclusion of the Spring 2023 semester, the Class of 2023 graduation ceremony will also include graduates from the Summer 2022, Fall 2022, and Winter 2023 semesters. Summer 2023 graduates will enjoy their diplomas with the Class of 2024. The colleges of Health Sciences, Pharmacy, and Medicine will conduct their ceremonies on May 10 at 9am, while the College of Education will hold its ceremony on May 9 at 4pm, according to the schedule made public by QU.
The graduation events for the colleges of Sharia and Islamic Studies, Engineering, and Law will all take place on May 10 at 4 p.m. May 11 at 9am is the scheduled time for the College of Arts and Sciences (Majors of History, Sociology, Social Work, and Psychology).
The College of Business and Economics will host theirs on May 13 at 9am, while the College of Arts and Sciences' is on May 11 at 4pm (Graduate Studies, Majors of Biology, Statistics, Chemistry, Sport Science, Mathematics, Arabic, English Literature, Linguistics, International Affairs, Policy, Planning & Development).
