Ras Abrouq, a popular desert destination near Zekreet, Qatar, has extended its events until February 15, 2025, due to high visitor demand.
Since mid-September 2024, approximately 38,000 visitors have enjoyed activities such as hot-air balloon experiences, archery sessions, camel parades, children's workshops, and engaging roaming acts. Upcoming drone shows are scheduled for January 16 and 17 at 7:30 PM and 8:30 PM.
Concurrently, Sealine Season, running from January 3 to 27, 2025, offers a variety of activities for adventure seekers and families. Visitors can participate in desert safaris, monster bus rides, ATV buggies, horse riding, and boat trips. Weekends feature fishing trips, stargazing, and Muay Thai classes. Notably, the Qatar Kite Festival is taking place at Sealine from January 16 to 18, between 12:00 PM and 5:30 PM, showcasing vibrant kites and aerial artistry.
Additionally, the Adani Show, featuring traditional Yemeni music, is scheduled for January 17 from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM, followed by a fireworks display. Tickets for Sealine Season events are priced at QR50 and can be purchased online.
These events are part of Qatar's broader efforts to enhance cultural and recreational offerings during the winter season, providing residents and visitors with diverse entertainment options.
