Rawdat Al Hamama Public Park inaugurated; features the longest air-conditioned outdoor track in the world

In an effort to encourage the people to jog and walk, Rawdat Al Hamama people Park, which has the world's longest air-conditioned outdoor track at 1,197 meters, was inaugurated yesterday by Municipality Minister H E Abdullah bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al Attiyah.

This project, which benefits the people of Al Kheesa and the neighboring areas, was carried out by the Public Works Authority (Ashghal) in collaboration with the Ministry of Municipality's Public Parks Department.

With the largest plant clock in Qatar, eight service kiosks, a 500-seat open amphitheater, and separate prayer rooms and restrooms for men and women, the park can accommodate up to 10,000 visitors every day.

As part of the State of Qatar's continuous efforts to improve sustainability and develop recreational infrastructure in accordance with the Qatar National Vision 2030, which aims to create green and sustainable cities, Rawdat Al Hamama Public Park is an environmentally friendly and sustainable model that improves quality of life and helps to humanize cities.
