Registration for Haj season 2025 will open on September 22 and continue until October 22

The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has stated that registration for the Haj season 2025 will open for citizens and expatriates on Sunday, September 22, 2024, and run until October 22, 2024. Yesterday, the news was made at a press conference held at the Ministry's headquarters. 

Speaking at the press conference, Ali bin Sultan Al Misifri, Director of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs' Department of Haj and Umrah, announced that registration will take place via the ministry's website (hajj.gov.qa). He further stated that approvals to applicants will be delivered in November, and the electronic raffle will start as soon as the Haj registration process is over. 

He stated that Gulf nationals and foreigners must be at least 45 years old and have lived in the nation for at least 15 years in order to apply for the Haj. He mentioned that in order to prevent future issues, it's crucial to register any companions in the same primary application. 

The Director of the Haj and Umrah Affairs Department stated that the Ministry will upload an instructional video clip on its social media platform that will provide a detailed explanation of the registration procedure, with regard to the online registration method.
