Roblox users can now explore “Qatar Adventure”, launched in celebration of first anniversary of Qatar World Cup 2022 final and Qatar National Day

Roblox users may now experience "Qatar Adventure," a metaverse virtual area that includes some of the most recognisable locations in Qatar along with real-life cultural events. In honour of Qatar National Day and the first anniversary of the 2022 World Cup final, the experience has been created.

Through Livetopia, a well-liked immersive Roblox environment, "Qatar Adventure" is available to everyone without payment until February 8, 2024. Developer Century Games and Q Life, a cultural platform under the State of Qatar's International Media Office (IMO), are partners in the project. 

The event is a continuation of Q Life's goal to promote Qatar to a worldwide audience by showcasing the nation in the fields of sports, the arts, and culture. Replica of the Lusail Stadium, which hosted the historic Qatar World Cup 2022 final between Argentina and France, is positioned at the core of the virtual world "Qatar Adventure."  Wearing a “bisht,” the traditional cloak made famous by Argentina's captain Lionel Messi as he hoisted the World Cup trophy, visitors may roam the renowned stadium.

The Katara Towers, which are owned by Katara Hospitality and are home to two 5-star hotels, are located next to the stadium. The towers represent an architectural interpretation of Qatar's national banner. The large lobby, opulent apartments, little museum, and clothes store where guests may dress in traditional Qatari attire are all open for exploration by virtual tourists.

A pearl diving task in "Qatar Adventure" allows players to swim with whale sharks, who are docile animals that yearly gather in Qatar in some of the greatest concentrations worldwide. 

A scavenger search for the "dallah," a traditional Qatari coffee pot, and a slackline walk between the hotel's two towers are additional activities available to guests. Jet skiing, paragliding, and water-propelled jetpacking are among the other water sports offered.

Q Life has reimagined cultural interaction and helped to establish bridges of understanding between Qatar and the rest of the globe through a variety of cultural activities, traditional goods, and monuments, all made possible by interactive technology brought about by the metaverse. "Qatar Adventure" emphasises the nation's reputation as a family-friendly travel destination by highlighting the myriad of accessible tourism activities.
