Lebanese driver Mansour Chebli won both Open 1 and Production 1 category events while Paige de Jagger won Open Class 3 and the Women’s Class in the second round of the Qatar National Sprint on Saturday.
At the Lusail Circuit Sports Club Karting Track, Chebli - driving his Renault Clio - clocked the second fastest lap of the day when he registered a time of 1:12.671 in Open Class 1 before finishing with a time of 1:15.066 in the Production 1 event.
His compatriot Jad Alawar, driving a Mitsubishi Evo 8, became the fastest of the day when he stopped the clock at 1:11.354 in Open Class 2 event. De Jager secured both her wins in a Mitsubishi Eclipse.
Qatar’s Maher Serre won the P2 class in his Porsche Cayman GTS, clocking a time of 1:16.873 in his only lap. Qatar’s Abdulla Ali Al Abbasi, driving a Lotus Exige, won the Production 3 class in 1:17.732.
