09 Jan 2025
NewsAccording to an official, the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau (CGB) is trying to improve visitor experiences by automating some of the services offered by government service centers.
The service centers serve citizens, foreign nationals, people with special needs, and businesses. The centers are essential to fulfilling Qatar National Vision 2030's requirements.
Al Daayen, Al Hilal, Al Khor, Al Rayyan, Al Shamal, Al Wakra, and The Pearl-Qatar are the locations of the centers.
They offer services from the Supreme Judiciary Council, the General Retirement and Social Insurance Authority, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of Labor, the Ministry of Social Development and Family, the Ministry of Municipality, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau, and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
Furthermore, services tailored to the needs of the elderly and disabled are provided by Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) in the centers. Government service centers provided 47,212 services to Qatari citizens and residents in November 2024 alone.
By gathering visitor input, the CGB has attempted to raise the standard of service delivery and increase user happiness. After receiving a service, visitors can use the screens at the centers or text messages to rate their experience.
