The exhibition is free to the public as part of museum visits and will be on display until the end of February 2025. It was unveiled in February as part of the celebrations for Qatar National Sports Day.
Through the intriguing realm of stamps, this one-of-a-kind exhibition delves into the rich history of the FIFA World Cup.
From the tournament's founding in 1930 to Qatar's historic hosting of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, it highlights key events.
Visitors will see an impressive collection that includes the first World Cup stamp and the first medal issue from the 1930 Uruguay event.
The World Cup in Stamps Exhibition provides an engrossing trip through the tournament's development, showcasing a unique assortment of stamps, including FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022-related issues and Qatar-related problems. Additionally, the 2024 Sharjah Stamp display awarded the display a Special Large Silver Medal.
