There will be three new private pediatric evening clinics in Qatar launched by Sidra Medicine in order to provide children with more healthcare options. Phased openings of evening clinics will offer private pediatric consultations in general pediatrics, dermatology, allergy, and immunology.
According to Sidra Medicine's social media accounts, families do not need a referral for private evening clinics and can directly request a consultation.
Clinics will be open on weekdays from 3 to 8 p.m. (Sunday to Thursday). Patients can pay via insurance or self-pay. With the launch of private pediatric services in the evenings in May, Sidra Medicine extended the hours of its outpatient clinics.
On May 22nd, the evening clinics opened progressively, with private pediatric consultations in General Surgery, Urology, and Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT).
“We are thrilled to launch the evening clinics, which are part of Sidra Medicine’s strategy to offer families in Qatar more choices regarding their health and wellness,” said Prof Ziyad M Hijazi, Chief Medical Officer at Sidra Medicine, during the launch of private pediatric services.
He also emphasized that Sidra Medicine will expand the evening clinics over the months, to cover the wide spectrum of its clinical services, including women’s services, while assuring us to remain committed to offering our patients safe and top-quality care.
In addition, Sidra Medicine will expand the evening clinics over the coming months in order to offer a wide range of clinical services, including women's services, and assuring patients safe and excellent care. Sidra Medicine announced new programmes in March aligned with its 2022 strategy for women's services.
A new Executive Women's Health programme will launch by the third quarter of 2022, offering a comprehensive health and wellbeing review for women aged 18 and over. As part of the assessment, they will receive evidence-based advice and a care plan that is customized to their individual needs.
Sidra Medicine will open a Well Woman Health Center by the end of this year that will provide comprehensive, holistic menopause management to midlife women and beyond.
