The local dates display, which opens on July 23, will be housed in an air-conditioned tent that will be erected in Souq Waqif's Eastern Square.
The popular show, which will be on view from 4 to 9 p.m. daily through August 3, 2024, is available to the public, according to an invitation from the organisers.
Numerous date varieties, such as Halawy, Mazafati, Medjool, and others, will be displayed during the event from domestic and foreign farms. Variety of date-derived items will also be available for purchase during the event, including pastries, cakes, jams, juices, smoothies, pickles, and even ice cream.
More than 100 date farms participated in the last edition of the show, and the fruit sold for more than QR2 million.
Doha's Dates Festival is a noteworthy occasion that highlights the dates' cultural, historical, and financial significance in Qatar. Visitors will also get the chance to learn about the several well-liked date varietals farmed around the nation.
