The cultural festival, "Passage to India 2024 concludes today

The much-awaited cultural event "Passage to India 2024," organised by the Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) in association with the Museum of Islamic Park, the Embassy of India, and Qatar Museum, got underway on March 7. A wide range of cultural acts were showcased during the ceremonial launch, with a gripping live sketch by well-known Indian speed painter Vilas Nayak serving as the highlight.

In conjunction with the commemoration of 50 years of diplomatic relations between Qatar and India, this three-day extravaganza seeks to highlight the diversity, richness, and culture of India. Honourable dignitaries such as H.E. Mr. Vipul, the Indian ambassador to Qatar, were there to greet the Chief Guest, Dr. Hamad Bin Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari, State Minister and President of the Qatar National Library.

ICC President Mr. A.P. Manikantan welcomed the eager crowd and encouraged them to enjoy Indian food, discover the colourful handicrafts and artefacts on exhibit, and immerse themselves in the cultural performances. A huge number of Indian community members, Qatari natives, and expatriates from various backgrounds attended the event.
