NewsThe Ministry of Culture on Sunday organized a seminar titled "Cultural Industry...Economy and Social Transformation" which discussed three topics including engineering culture, cultural industries and cultural industries and their role in the economy.
Qatar's Director of Cultural Affairs and Events, Khalid Abdul Rahim Al Sayed, emphasized in his speech the concept of cultural industries and their relationship with business concepts in culture and the project management model. , including the financial aspect of ensuring sustainability of projects.
Meanwhile, Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Academy Director Dr. Abdul Rahim Al Hur addressed the issue of cultural industries and their role in the economy, stating that the alternative culture cannot replace the culture of origin and therefore dependence is essential. Culture of origin as it is an integral part of the country's economy and a central factor in determining the national income ratio.
Qatari journalist Abdulaziz Al Ishaq emphasized the importance of thinking in the new phase of culture, indicating that preparation should be done by providing human resources for capacity building, and cited examples of preparations made by Qatar at the beginning of the second millennium. The skills to deepen the management of sports emphasize the importance of involving young people to ensure that cultural projects do not become projects of variable duration, including the importance of considering innovative culture and global experiences in the field.
Maryam Yassin Al Hammadi, Director of the Culture and Arts Department at the Ministry of Culture, said that the Ministry of Culture continues to offer various seminars related to culture, adding that cultural and innovative industries are vital as an innovation. The cultural economy is a critical stage of the economy and sustainability that will achieve cultural diversity and community privacy, emphasizing that the Ministry strives to provide culture-related topics that contribute to the exploration of talents in partnership with all institutions.
