EventIbtihaj Al Ahmadani, Chairperson of the Qatari Businesswomen Forum and Board Member of the Qatar Chamber launched the ninth edition of the Arabian Woman Exhibition on November 3 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC). It runs until Wednesday, November 8. Along with several other businesswomen and entrepreneurs from Qatar, Tamader Al Marri, the director of Vogue Event Company, was present at the opening ceremony.
Under the auspices of the Qatari Businesswomen Forum, the expo boasts 220 domestic and foreign displays, exhibiting over 170 notable female entrepreneurs from Qatar and the surrounding area during the winter and autumn of 2023.
Al Ahmadani was educated on the most recent designs and items offered by Qatari and international designers in the sectors of fashion, accessories, and women's products as he toured the pavilions of the expo. During her speech, Al Ahmadani underlined the assistance that the Qatari Businesswomen Forum provides to Qatari women in business, to enable them to advance their companies and increase their involvement in the state's commercial and economic operations.
The ninth edition of the expo, she added, is very different from previous editions in terms of both size (10,000 sqm) and number of exhibitors.
Al Marri said that in addition to enhancing their responsibilities in the country's economy, the show would keep assisting aspirational designers and business owners. It typically draws more than 12,000 people each year, making it one of the state's most important fairs, she emphasised. Showing designs and sharing knowledge is made possible by this significant platform provided by the event.
She said that this edition will stand out since so many well-known figures in the abaya and high-end fashion industries will be participating. She also said that it would be complete because it will feature every abaya and women's accessory that a Qatari lady could possibly need. Furthermore, she predicted that the show, which is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., will see a large number of visitors this year because of the wide range of goods it provides.
