Aspire Zone Foundation has announced that the unveiling of Torch Tower, which set Guinness World Record for being the largest external 360 degree screen in the world, would be postponed due to unexpected weather conditions.
In a statement they said, "Due to the unexpected weather condition and for your safety, the event will postponed till other time , we will share the new information’s shortly." As per previous announcement, Torch tower was set to launch officially on the June 6, 2022 between 7pm to 9pm.
The Torch Doha is the result of comprehensive architectural, engineering and technical design, situated at 300m high and with 360° panoramic views across the city, formerly shaped to represent a colossal torch for the duration of the 15th Asian Games in 2006 held its symbolic flame.
