VCUarts Qatar announced the start of a new Bachelor of Fine Art in Kinetic Imaging for the new academic year

A new Bachelor of Fine Art in Kinetic Imaging program will begin in August 2024 at Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in Qatar (VCUarts Qatar), a university that is a partner of the Qatar Foundation (QF).

The Kinetic Imaging department at the University's home campus in Richmond, which is ranked number five in the new media category by U.S. News & World Report, will work with and assist the new department. Those interested in pursuing a BFA in Kinetic Imaging must first finish a one-year Art Foundation program, which will teach them critical skills in creativity, artistic practice, and design thinking. This program is similar to other fine art undergraduate programs at VCUarts Qatar, such as Graphic Design, Interior Design, and Painting + Printmaking.

The program's curriculum allows for a variety of multidisciplinary and diversified learning experiences with its seven area electives and four free electives.
