
The competition will be held from April 7–10 at Suhaim bin Hamad Stadium, Qatar Sports Club in Doha, and the organizing committee of the West Asian Clubs Athletics Championship has confirmed that 300 athletes from 14 clubs across 13 countries would compete.
In conjunction with the Qatar Athletics Federation, the committee acknowledged at a meeting at Al Ahli Sports Club that all preparations are set for the championship's second edition.
Al Ahli Sports Club's Head of Athletics and Championship Director, Khalid Al Suwaidi, highlighted the committee's commitment to producing a top-notch event that satisfies its technical and athletic goals.
Al Suwaidi emphasized that the championship offers West Asian clubs a useful opportunity to improve their athletes' abilities in track and field competitions.
He underlined that athletes have the chance to enhance their performances, break records, and raise their level of play during the competition, which eventually helps their individual national teams.
The event's increasing popularity and significance in the yearly athletic calendar are highlighted by the substantial participation from clubs throughout the region.
