Now only 30 more days left for Qatar to host the first FIFA World Cup 2022 in the Middle East and Arab world. Eight state-of-the-art stadiums are ready to host 64 matches between November 20 and December 18. Qatar has shown its willingness and readiness to deliver the best World Cup ever. The 60,000-capacity Al Bait Stadium will host the opening match between Qatar and Ecuador on November 20, while the Lusail Stadium will host the final match on Qatar National Day which falls on December 18.
All the stadiums can be reached within an hour, thus making it easily accessible and convenient for fans to watch more than one game in a day. Also, many infrastructure facilities like rail system, road network, hotels, apartments, airports etc. have been built and upgraded to ensure a stress-free and enjoyable tournament experience to the visitors. Organizers are expecting around 1.2 million fans to visit Qatar for the tournament.
