News EventThe "5th Souq Waqif International Honey Exhibition" will take place at Souq Waqif's Eastern Square starting on Saturday, February 10 and running through February 19. At the fair, over 100 domestic and foreign businesses from 25 nations will be showing more than 60 varieties of honey.
The exhibition's general supervisor, Khalid Saif Al Suwaidi, stated he expected a big attendance this year and attributed it in part to the recent Asian Cup event, which brought a lot of tourists to the nation. He also emphasised the event's other features, which include a testing lab to evaluate the quality of the honey on display and a booth providing apitherapy services where guests may discover alternative medicine made with honeybee products.
Al Suwaidi said that a live cooking demonstration of Halwa with honey, Oman's most popular dessert, will be presented to guests by an Omani booth. The display features a number of notable honey kinds, including Majra, Athel, Samra, Sidr, Acacia, Mangrove, Manuka, Lavender, Talh, and Thyme.
The public can view the exhibition from Saturday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.; on Fridays, the show is accessible from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. The exhibition is free to enter.
