A fundraising game with slogan ‘Stand With Palestine.’ by Qatar Academy to support Palestinians scheduled on December 15

A number of professional and amateur football players are scheduled to gather at Education City Stadium on December 15, for a charity match aimed at helping the Palestinian people impacted by Israel's Gaza Strip siege. Under the slogan "Stand With Palestine," the project is being coordinated by students at Qatar Academy.

Organisers announced on Saturday at the Education City Stadium that the game will feature two teams, dubbed Palestine and Qatar, with a mix of current and former football players on each side. When the game begins at 6.30 p.m., the complete starting lineup will be revealed in the next few days. Attendees include members of the Qatar national team, students from Palestinian School and Qatar Academy Doha, as well as other big names in the world.

Leading the initiative is a group of five students from Qatar Academy Doha. The 25-minute opening ceremony will feature songs by Dana Al Meer, Nesma, and Nasser Al Kubaisi.

The starting lineup for the 6.30 p.m. game will be revealed in the next few days. It is anticipated that worldwide celebrities, members of the Qatar national team, Palestinian School students, and Qatar Academy Doha students will make appearances.
