The AFC Annual Awards Doha 2022 began in the charming capital city of Doha, Qatar to be a stunning celebration of Asia's best.
The glamorous event, which was last held four years ago, is back on the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) football schedule. It is held at the cutting-edge Al Mayassa Theatre, which is housed inside the magnificent Qatar National Convention Centre, which is well-known for its award-winning architecture. AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023, which takes place from January 12 to February 10, 2024, will take place in Qatar. The continent's most talented football players will be acknowledged at the 27th edition of the Awards, which will be hosted by Hosts Qatar.
The evening began with a moving remembrance of the late Saoud Al Mohannadi of Qatar, who will receive the coveted AFC Diamond of Asia award in recognition of his enormous contributions to the growth of Asian football.
