Annual Winter Camping Season for 2023/2024; Online registration is open from 22 to 31 October

Online registration for the annual Winter Camping Season for 2023–2024 is now open nationwide, according to the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change. The dates for registration are October 22–31, 2023. The Winter Camping Season is scheduled to start on November 1, 2023, and end on April 30, 2024. 

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change hosted a news conference where this announcement was made. During the meeting, all of the revised commitments and conditions for the next camping season were revealed. 

The relevant authority has the power to dismantle the camp if the permission holder disregards any of the ministry's requirements. He said that if the aforementioned requirements are not met, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change has the authority to cancel the environmental permit. 

In order to verify that the permission terms are being followed, permit holders must permit inspectors from the appropriate authorities to visit the camp upon request. They are also prohibited from obtaining multiple permits. The permission may be revoked by the appropriate authorities if the inspection is rejected.
