Eleventh edition Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition - AgriteQ 2024 opened on February 21

News EventThe eleventh edition of the Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition (AgriteQ) was officially opened on Wednesday morning, February 21, 2024, by the Minister of Municipality, HE Abdullah bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al-Attiyah, under the patronage of Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani. 259 local and foreign exhibitors, including 40 producers of dates, 30 exhibitors of honey, and 106 local farms, will be present in the Cultural Zone of Expo 2023 Doha.
HE Saad bin Ali Al-Kharji, President of Qatar Tourism, HE Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Hamad bin Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, Minister of Culture, HE Maryam bin Ali bin Nasser Al-Misnad, Minister of Social Development and Family, HE Ghanem bin Shaheen bin Ghanem Al-Ghanim, Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, HE Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki AlSubaie, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, HE Dr Hamda bint Hassan Al-Sulaiti, Vice President of the Shura Council, HE Mohammed bin Ali Al-Athba, Chairman of the Central Municipal Council, attended the event.
Many of Their Excellencies ambassadors accredited to the State of Qatar, a number of senior officials from the nation's government institutions and agencies, and a number of representatives from regional and international agricultural organisations also attended the event.
The purpose of AgriteQ, which runs until February 27, 2024, is to promote regional farmers and agricultural goods.
