Exhibition SkillFest started at four different locations across the country and will run until August 15

Exhibition SkillFest began on August 1 and will continue until August 15 at four distinct venues throughout the nation: Msheireb Galleria, Place Vendome, Mall of Qatar, and West Walk. 

Visit Qatar said in a statement on Wednesday that the Festival encourages guests to partake in regional arts, crafts, and culture. As the first of its kind, SkillFest highlights creativity, culture, and community engagement while honouring regional and sustainable arts and crafts that draw inspiration from Qatar's maritime environment.

The events, which include Arabic calligraphy, astronomy and science exhibitions, manuscripts and anecdotes, pavilions on local marine creatures, photography exhibitions by Qatari photographers, and artisan markets with 24 artists' products, are organised by local and resident artists and craftsmen.

Free admission to the exhibition is available daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., with the exception of Friday, when hours are from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
