First edition of the “SkillFest” festival; Qatar Scientific Club will be participating in the activities of the festival

The inaugural "SkillFest" festival is being hosted in four public venues: Msheireb Galleria, Place Vendome, Mall of Qatar, and West Walk. The Qatar Scientific Club (QSC) is participating in the events of this festival. The events are scheduled to go on until August 15. 

The Scientific Club hosts a variety of scientific experiments and programmes for various age groups at the festival location in the West Walk neighbourhood.

Engineer Abdulrahman explained the current activities taking place at the Scientific Club's planetarium. He said that the planetarium is a part of the club's Promising Innovator Programmes and will be featured this week and next week. Students taking part in summer activities will learn about the virtual world in this field by having the chance to enter the dome, as well as learn about programming so they can create their own games. The planetarium shows at the club are continuously updated as per the latest trends.

The SkillFest strives to commemorate Qatar's maritime environment and legacy in addition to offering guests the chance to take part in creative workshops, engaging community gatherings, and a variety of cultural events.
