Horse show season will start next month few days before the new racing season gets underway on October 16

The 12 prominent national and international events that will take place during the local Arabian horse show season were revealed by the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club (QREC) yesterday. The horse show season will begin the following few days before the new racing season begins on October 16 and activity returns to the racecourses in Al Rayyan and Al Uqda.

The horse show program in Qatar will feature prominent studs and farms from both Qatar and beyond, as it does every season. 

The fourth Qatar Arabian Horse Breeders Cup, which is set to take place from October 24 to 26, will take place after the Start of Season Auction on October 10.

Additionally, the 4th Qatar Arabian Horse Show for Local Bred will take place in October. 

The Al Shaqab International Arabian Horse Show and the Qatar National Arabian Horse Show are the two events that take place in November.

The 14th Souq Waqif Arabian Peninsula Horse Show will take place in the same month. The third international exhibition, the Katara International Arabian Peninsula Horse Show, will take place from January 29 to February 1. 

February 5–8 is when the Global Champions Arabians Tour takes place.

The season's last two events, the 10th Qatar National Arabian Peninsula Horse Show and the 13th Qatar National Arabian Horse Show, will both happen in April. Just as the season will open with a horse auction, it will close with another one on April 17—the End of Season Auction.
