Katara Astro Fair will be held from October 24 to 26 at the Thuraya Planetarium

News EventThe "Innovations and Science - Shaping the Future from Concept to Creation" Katara Astro Fair, organized in collaboration with Maps International and the Katara Space Science Program, was officially opened by the Cultural Village (Katara) on October 24, and will run through Saturday, October 26. The events, which take place at the Thuraya Planetarium in Katara, started with an exciting demonstration of scientific, technological, engineering, and mathematical (STEM) creativity and innovation. Students from Qatari universities and schools were present in large numbers, and there was also a distinguished presence of academics, teachers, and scientists.
Numerous educational and scientific organizations, schools, and universities in the State of Qatar, as well as a number of students from various nationalities and scientific levels, attend the astronomical exhibition. Each participant shares his unique ideas in a variety of scientific and astronomical fields, including robotics, planetary systems, artificial intelligence, space exploration, machine learning, and more.
The Katara Astro Fair offers kids a special opportunity to present their STEM ideas to a panel of knowledgeable judges over the course of three days. These projects and models showcase the participants' technical prowess and inventiveness, allowing them to vie for a number of distinguished honors, such as the Most Creative Award, the Young Innovator Award for Creative Idea in Problem Solving, the Future Scientist Award for the Most Innovative Model, and the Outstanding Presentation and Design Award.
The winners of the awards, which honor exceptional abilities and seek to increase kids' interest in science and innovation, will be revealed on the final day of the show.
