The Cultural Village Foundation, Katara inaugurated the Monochrome Exhibition for the Art Space group. The exhibition is at Katara Building No. 1.
Along with a number of artists and supporters, the opening was attended by HE Dr Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari, the Minister of State and President of the Qatar National Library, as well as Katara Saif Saad Al Dosari's Deputy General Manager and Director of Human Resources.
There are fifty paintings in the exhibition, which was inaugurated yesterday night and runs until March 10 by twenty-five artists.
Using a single hue and its brighter and darker tones to produce creative works is known as monochrome. It is the responsibility of the artist to convey a whole sense by encapsulating the scene in a single hue.
