Doha: The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) inaugurated the "Voyage through the Golden Sand" exhibition by Cypriot artist Konstantinos Zannetos. The opening ceremony was attended by Khalid Abdulrahim Al Sayed, Director of the Cultural Affairs and Events Department at Katara, along with the Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Qatar, H E Nguyen Huy Hiep, as well as several diplomats, media representatives, and intellectuals.
Held at Building 47, the exhibition will run until January 7, showcasing 13 unique paintings that capture the cultural and heritage essence of the Arabian Peninsula, with a special focus on the traditional practices of hunting and falconry.
The exhibition offers an artistic journey that explores the beauty of authentic Arab culture, emphasizing life in the desert. The paintings highlight the Arabs' deep connection with falcons, the desert landscape, Arabian horses, camels, and wild animals.
