News EventA variety of thrilling summertime events that are sure to please guests of all ages have been announced by Msheireb Museums. From mid-July until August 25, 2024, Msheireb Museums is the best place to learn and explore over the summer, offering immersive experiences and creative programmes.
Located in the centre of Msheireb Downtown Doha, within four historic homes, Msheireb Museums is a vibrant hub for lifelong learning and community involvement. The museums seek to stimulate curiosity, advance cultural awareness, and foster creative thinking among visitors from a variety of backgrounds through their varied programmes and exhibitions.
The programs included are Weaving for ages 6 and up, Arabic Calligraphy for ages 6 and up, Lego DNA which is a family science workshop building DNA models, for ages 8-12, Lego Printmaking which is a family workshop combining art and engineering for ages 8-12, Paper Recycling to discover sustainable crafting techniques, for ages 13 and up, Gypsum Crafts to create decorative objects using traditional materials, for ages 13 and up.
Workshops in August will include resin art, 3D printing, micro solar-powered devices, and needlework. Every session will be held at a different Msheireb Museum site.
The curriculum is a reflection of Msheireb Museums' dedication to innovation and Qatari cultural preservation. Workshops are intended to inspire participants to explore new abilities and viewpoints while also being instructive and enjoyable.
Registration in advance is necessary due to space limitations. A person must pay QR30 for each workshop.
