National Museum of Qatar invites the public to discover a series of activities planned for Qatar National Day

News EventAs part of an annual celebration aimed at showcasing the rich cultural legacy and tradition of Qatar, the National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ) extends an invitation to the public to explore a range of events scheduled for the Qatar National Day.
The Journey Begins Here is a series of activities that are geared towards both locals and visitors. It includes everything from coffee rituals and colourful culinary experiences to innovative historical art workshops, all with the goal of encouraging a feeling of respect for the past while looking forward to a peaceful future.
The Baraha and Lagoon sectors of NMoQ will host events for Qatar National Day on December 15, 16, from 3–7 p.m. The main locations and events are:
Culinary Hub: Visitors may interact with Qatari heritage via several senses by visiting this station, which highlights cuisine and culinary traditions. While watching a live cooking demonstration, attendees get to taste traditional Qatari cuisine straight out of the oven.
Art and Craft: A series of artistic workshops led by well-known local artists will smoothly combine elements of the past with the present. To participate in creative discussion, visitors will have the opportunity to interact with the artists.
Interactive Corner: The live demonstrations aim to provide guests with an opportunity to learn about and experience a variety of arts and crafts related to Qatari heritage and culture, including Henna design, Mashmoom Necklace, and Hair Braiding.
Hospitality Reception: By providing information, customary beverages, and treats, this station makes sure that guests are greeted warmly and with knowledge, therefore capturing the essence of the occasion. A demonstration of how Arabic coffee is made is also available for tourists to experience.
Photo Lounge: It is recommended that visitors wear traditional clothing, have their portrait taken by a professional photographer, or snap a memorable shot in the Museum of Illusion's Up-Side Down Majlis.
