Neshan Ramadan Shooting Championship set to take place at the Lusail Shooting Complex

Details of the Neshan Ramadan Shooting Championship, which will be held at the Lusail Shooting Complex during the holy month, were made public by the Qatar Shooting and Archery Association. More than 250 competitors, including amateurs and members of the Qatari national team, will compete in the competition, which is sponsored by HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC).

The announcement was made yesterday evening at the Associations headquarters during a press conference that was attended by Hassan Yousef Al Obaidly, Director of Programs at the Social and Sport Contribution Fund (DAAM), Noorah Al Hakami, the head of the championship's technical committee, and the tournament's director, HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Salman Al Thani.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Salman Al Thani, the tournament's director, stressed during a press conference that Neshan is one of the biggest community and Ramadan tournaments of the year. His Excellency thanked Daam for supporting the competition for the second year in a row and mentioned that this year's prize pool has been raised to QR 550,000, surpassing last year's rewards.
