Qatar Museums announced that all museums and exhibitions in Qatar will be open to the public for free for three days from May 18

All Qatari museums and exhibitions will be free to visit for three days starting today and lasting through Saturday, May 18–20, in recognition of International Museum Day, according to a statement from Qatar Museums (QM).

The theme for this year's International Museum Day is "Museums, Sustainability and Well-Being," which highlights the important part that museums play in fostering community well-being and sustainable development, addressing climate change and diversity, reducing social isolation, and improving mental health through educational programmes, exhibitions, community outreach, and research.
