Qatar Museums offers free entrance to all QM museums and exhibitions on May 17 and 18

Qatar Museums (QM) is offering free admission to all of its museums and exhibitions on May 17 and 18, in honor of International Museum Day, a worldwide celebration of museums and their significance in fostering cross-cultural understanding and interaction. The program offers free access to all of QM's temporary exhibitions as well as its internationally recognized network of museums, which includes the National Museum of Qatar, the Museum of Islamic Art, Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art, 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum, and others.

The International Council of Museums organizes International Museum Day, which takes place on May 18th or close to it every year. The subject for this year is Museums for Education and Research, which strives to shed light on the vital role that museums play in both education and research. It also highlights the importance of museums as vibrant organizations that foster learning, exploration, and cross-cultural understanding.
