Qatar Tourism introduced several events, festivals, offers, and packages during Ramadan this year

News EventThis year, during the holy month of Ramadan, Qatar Tourism is introducing a number of events, festivals, incentives, and packages. The "Throwback Festival" in the Old Doha Port and the "Souq Al Wakrah Bazaar" at the Al Wakrah Old Souq feature a variety of culinary offerings. There are lots of opportunities for families and individuals to participate in celebrations during the holy month with additional Ramadan events including talks and movie screenings.
To provide locals and tourists with the finest deals and packages available during Ramadan from leading tourism and hospitality establishments, Qatar Tourism has partnered with a number of public and private organisations. These locations, which are dispersed around Qatar, provide a range of family-friendly cultural activities.
This year, from March 10 to April 10, Qatar Tourism is holding the Throwback Food Festival at the Old Doha Port, with family-friendly events every day. The location honours the legacy and culture of fabric weaving in Qatar by decorating it with traditional tapestries and illumination during Ramadan.
At the Throwback Food Festival, guests may tour over 15 restaurants featuring various cuisines, mostly from the Middle East and South Asia, to relive their childhood memories. Popeye, Sidheeque Juice Stall, Omar Al Khayam, Hargeisa, Palestine Cafeteria, Al Zarka Scene, Orange Kiosk, Baradat Saida, Rex Restaurant, Shujaa Restaurant, Stearling, Pakistan Sweets and more are some of the eateries that are only available here. Daily hours for the Throwback Food Festival are Iftar through Suhoor.
The Souq Al Wakra Hotel will host the Ramadan Fair, which is being coordinated by Heenat Salma Farm and Qatar Tourism. It provides guests with a variety of events, such as educational seminars, movie screenings, free craft sessions, and kid-friendly workshops. The Ramadan Fair offers a variety of gourmet cuisine that are sure to please even the pickiest eaters. At Al Wakrah Souq, guests may savour a range of cuisines from several waterfront eateries.
Visitors may explore and purchase at more than 40 stalls including textiles, homeware, handmade toys, arts & crafts, fragrances, and fashion. At the booths, youngsters may also interact with artists and crafters. In addition, there are a number of kid-friendly seminars on Qatari arts and crafts, including painting Islamic patterns, calligraphy, body oil and kohl, and palm weaving. Free adult and children's film screenings featuring Islamic and Arab cultures are another feature of the festival.
