Iran tied the score at two with a penalty shot from Alireza Jahanbakhsh in the fifty-first minute. In the 82nd minute, Almoez Ali scored Al Annabi's third goal against its Iranian opponent. At full-time, the score stood at 3-2, and Qatar had advanced to the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023TM finals.
