QatarDebate Center announces "The International Conference on Debate and Dialogue" on 29 - 30 May 2023 at Qatar National Convention Center

News EventThe worldwide academic conference "The International Conference on Debate and Dialogue" will be held in the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) on May 29 and 30, 2023, according to a statement from the QatarDebate Centre. The Center's focus on science, knowledge, studies, and research aimed at expanding the boundaries of collaboration and knowledge growth is reflected in this academic gathering. Researchers, professors, and postgraduate students are participating in the Conference's inaugural edition.
It is a significant turning point in the Center's tireless efforts and serves as a premier arena for discussion where guests may hear the opinions of top academics and researchers. It is a significant step towards giving the young, talented cadres further training in academic research.
The Conference will be attended by 80 academics and researchers, as well as a number of postgraduate students, eminent experts, and fellows. One hundred fifty people are anticipated to attend. The current event will also be distinctive in terms of its diverse themes and cross-disciplinary subjects, including Islamic studies, philosophy, education, and linguistics. The Conference will also highlight the advantages of the academic curriculum, research programmes, and fellowships that QatarDebate offers to foreign universities.
Dr. Rajab Shanturk, a keynote speaker from Hamad Bin Khalifa University. He will discuss the subject of contention from the standpoint of Islamic tradition. The topic of argumentation will be covered by Dr. Dima Mohammed from Nafa University in Portugal in the form of frameworks and applications. Dr. Heba Rauf Ezzat of the Ibn Khaldun University in Turkey will speak on the third topic, dialogue and its cultural and social dimensions, while Dr. Maya Nenadovic of Croatia will speak on discussion and education.
An exhibition with a three-pavilion configuration will be held concurrently with the Conference. The first is devoted to highlighting the Center's most recent accomplishments and programmes, in addition to the many initiatives that were started over the course of the previous 15 years, how they were promoted globally, and what their goals were. These initiatives include a national debating team, Elite Academy, Ambassadors, expanding foundations for debate and dialogue, as well as regional and international competitions.
The research publications participating in the Conference and a detailed explanation of them, will be showcased in the second pavilion and the third pavilion is an interactive area where participants who have taken part in the Center's various programmes over the years can share their experiences, discuss how debates have affected their academic and professional lives, and improve their project-related skills.
