Registration for Student Activity Center events for Spring 2024 from December 22 to January 2

News EventThe Ministry of Education and Higher Education declared that registration for Student Activity Center events for Spring 2024 will commence on December 22 and run until January 2, 2025. 16 centers will host these events, 8 of which will be for boys and 8 for females, guaranteeing coverage of various areas of Qatar.
With the aim of fostering in students a sense of social solidarity and active citizenship as well as motivating them to support important humanitarian causes, the activities include workshops and sessions that address contemporary humanitarian issues in Arab nations, such as the circumstances in Gaza and Syria.
The programs also cover a range of educational and awareness-raising activities, such as cybersecurity education, emergency response training, health awareness (including oral and dental health, physical fitness, and healthy nutrition), and workshops on human rights, traffic safety, and traditional arts and crafts.
In order to promote physical exercise and emphasize the value of sports, sporting events and contests are often featured.

To improve students' awareness of the nation's cultural, natural, and educational surroundings, field trips will be planned to cultural, educational, and health facilities such as the Qatar National Library, Katara Cultural Village, Sidra Medicine, Qatar Museums, and Aspire Park.
The Ministry of Education and Higher Education declared that in order to register for Student Activity Centers, which can accommodate 200 students overall and are split into two groups—children aged 6 to 11 and youth aged 12 to 18—a copy of the student's ID and a medical report in the event of any special medical conditions must be submitted.
Through the "Maaref for Public" portal, students can complete the registration procedure, which aims to provide a holistic educational experience that develops students' abilities and personalities in a safe and innovative setting.
