Registration for the World Arabian Horse Championship will open on October 17

News EventThe Cultural Village Foundation, Katara, has announced that the registration for the World Arabian Horse Championship will begin on October 17 and conclude on October 31. Participants who arrive late can also take part; submissions received after November 1st will be accepted until November 7th. The Old Doha Port is the location for registration.
Horses must be registered in any studbook acknowledged by the World Arabian Horse Organisation (WAHO) to be eligible to participate.
The championship's high standards are reflected in the thorough and demanding qualifications for the competing horses. In order for a horse to be eligible for competition, it must have qualified at a show affiliated with the European Conference of Arab Horse Organisations (ECAHO), placed first through fifth in A or B shows, first through fifth in yearling classes at the World Championship, won a title or an A show, and accomplished a number of other goals at national and international levels.

The World Arabian Horse Championship in 2023 is a historic occasion for Qatar because it will be hosted outside of France for the first time in more than 40 years. This year's competition is slated to take place from December 6 to December 9.
