Second edition of the Design Doha Biennale will be held from April 16 to June 30, 2026

According to Qatar Museums, the Design Doha Biennale's second edition will take place from April 16 to June 30, 2026. Originally held in 2024, the event will grow in scope and ambition and serve to further establish the city as a global center for creativity and design.

On April 18, 2026, the event's high point will be the Design Doha Prize Ceremony. To honor innovation and quality in the area, the ceremony will bring together the largest names in the design industry.

An Exhibition Open Call will be held by Design Doha, encouraging forward-thinking curators to help build the story of modern design. MENA-based curators, curators with ties to the GCC, Levant, and North Africa, and curators collaborating with regional designers are all welcome to attend.

Proposals for innovative exhibitions that highlight the area's rich cultural legacy and innovative creative expertise are being sought under the Open Call.

Selected curators will work closely with the Design Doha exhibition team, getting all the help and advice they need to plan, create, and present their shows. Submissions will be accepted from March 13 through May 13, 2025.

Design Doha 2026 will promote creative, sustainable design solutions while showcasing Arab talent.
