News EventOn August 8, Al Markhiya Gallery in Doha Fire Station will feature a multidisciplinary exhibition featuring the works of three Arab artists. The film "Seif" features Iraqi painter Ismail Azzam, Qatari artist Azzam Al Mannai, and Syrian artist and writer Ismail Al Rifai. These creative artists will convert Al Markhiya Gallery into a captivating multi-sensory experience, exploring themes of nature, the ocean, and other natural elements via photography, film, painting, and music. They allow audiences to immerse themselves in the wonders of flora, animals, and the relaxing sounds of the sea by capturing the grandeur and majesty of the natural world.
Ismail Azzam has a wealth of expertise and experience working with museums and galleries. He is regarded as one of the most notable modern portrait artists, with a reputation for painting famous regional individuals with exceptional technique. Azzam's work has been shown both locally and abroad, and he has taught painting in several places. He is also a key member of Iraq's Artists Syndicate and Association. He has more than 15 years of expertise in the oil and gas business. He did, however, acquire a profound passion for photography and capturing nature's beauty, which led him to create magnificent aerial pictures, landscapes, and undersea sceneries.
Azzam Al Mannai has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and has worked in the oil and gas business for over 15 years. Ismail Al Rifai's notable accomplishments include the Dubai Culture Award in 2015, first place in the Emirates Fine Arts Society's annual exhibition in 2013, and the Sharjah place for Arab Creativity for his novel "Drawers of Clay" in 2006.
