News EventThe Katara Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) has opened registration to the public for the Katara summer camp, which will run from July 23 to August 15, as part of its summer activities for youngsters. With the participation of numerous governmental bodies, as well as several Katara institutions and centres, the camp offers an integrated programme that encompasses a wide range of activities that would build children's character.
It also aims to link educational practises with the promotion of Qatari identity, as well as customs and traditions that will develop social, religious, and national values in order to further promote talents and capabilities, as well as keeping up with the technological era, interest in various sports activities, and awareness and religious programmes.
The Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) will present a series of lectures on medical aid, as will the Al Gannas Qatari Society, which will host a variety of activities in which children can learn more about falconry, as well as a workshop on making coffee, pouring over coffee, receiving guests at the Qatari Majlis, and other authentic Qatari customs and traditions.
